LAGUNA AGATE DESIGNER CABOCHON (MEXICO) - 30.65 ct. Freeform

This unique stone is one of the finest I've ever had the privilege of cutting.  It's from the world-famous Mexican Laguna Agate deposit and displays amazing colors and fortification banding. Its other distinctive feature is an intriguing sagenite “puffball.” The cabochon is very fine quality, fit to inspire a fine designer’s unique jewelry creation. Highly polished on both sides with a sweeping curved medium dome and a girdle angled for easy setting. Widest dimensions: 42 x 22 x 5 mm.  All uses, absolutely no treatment.  Very slight undercutting in the sagenite area.
