The ideal Sugarloaf cabochon is cut from the largest possible eye-clean, strongly color saturated rough material available. This top facet-grade amethyst from Uruguay is close to meeting all those criteria. It’s nearly loupe clean and boasts a very saturate pinkish-purple hue with none of the color zoning so typical of amethyst. It weighs 8.94 ct. and measures approx. 12.1 x 11.9 x 8.3 mm.
