ORBICULAR JASPER DESIGNER CABOCHON (U.S.A.) – 10.27 ct. Free Shape

An outstanding example of the famous Guadalupe orbicular “Poppy Jasper” from California. It was mined just south of San Jose near the Guadalupe Reservoir, and was cut recently from old-time rough. It features the well-known red “poppies” with white centers against a greenish-to-tan background. The material is very solid (no cracks or inclusions), measuring 24 x 12 x 5 mm. The stone has a high dome angled for easy setting, a flat back and a glistening polish overall.
