This fabulous gemmy cabochon was cut from facet-grade color-selected rough from a very special location in Asia. It is very close to loupe clean and features the wonderful strong reddish-purple that makes this gem-grade garnet very special. It resembles grape or red currant jelly solidified into a gem. Highly polished front and back, please ignore the reflections in the accompanying images. Its vitals are: approx. 3.55 ct., calibration to 8 x 10 x 4 mm.
