Chrysoprase is a beautiful translucent green quartz gem that is often worn as jade, which it strongly resembles. It is hard and wears well in jewelry. Most of the world’s production of this material is now centered in Australia but it gained fame hundreds of years ago from a now-depleted occurrence in Poland. This beautiful cabochon was cut from the best quality material and polished front and back. Measures about 11.61 x 13.37 x 7.05 mm.
