Maw Sit-Sit is a complex gem mineral containing chromic jadeite. It’s named for the Burmese/Myanmar village near where it is mined. A by-product of jadeite mining, its rarity and great beauty were appreciated by the local miners and top gemologists and it is gaining greatly in popularity. This very attractive matched pair, perfect for earrings, weighs approx. 2.78 ct. (total weight of both). Each one measures about 12.9 x 7 x 2 mm. They are polished on both sides. (All uses, N)
