Cacoxenite is an attractive mineral that sometimes forms inside amethyst crystals that hasn’t been available in the U.S. for many years. This designer cabochon was cut from material stored since the early 1960s. It features shimmery rows of cacoxenite crystals aligned to contrast the “S”-shaped curvature of this low-domed cab. High polish on front, semi-polished on back. Nice designer piece. Weight: approx. 11.28 ct. Measurements: approx. 28 x 16 x 3.2 mm. (All uses, N)
