Lace agate is a misnomer in the case of this particular stone which was mined from the lace agate location. It exhibits rare and wonderful tight fortification banding in a large pattern. The stone, shaped as a modified shield, displays reds, pinks and grays. It measures approx. 27 x 50 x 4.3 mm. and weighs about 52 ct. High polish front and back.
