Step-cut facets like those of the classic emerald cut show off this rare Royal Rhodolite gem from a special source especially well. They reflect broad flashes of lovely red-purple color in an eye-catching display. A mixture of the garnet species almandine and pyrope, rhodolite is defined by its violet/purple color. Because purple is a royal color I've given this garnet a Royal name. It's suitable for the finest jewelry. This stone is calibrated 9 x 7 mm.
