A fine, nearly loupe-clean gem with the color-shift property Nigerian rubellite is known for. The stone appears red-purple in daylight and a distinctly orange-red hue in incandescent light. It displays excellent transparency and great light return from the excellent cut. The clarity is amazing for red tourmaline, a Type II gem! Approx. 4.34 ct., 8.9 x 10.35 x 6.6 mm. Wonderful stone for ring or pendant. It was cut from my own material and I guarantee no treatment of any kind. (All uses, N)
