PRECIOUS OPAL (Australia) – 6.20 ct. (Some care, N)

A large pear shape suitable for a very nice pendant. This N8-tone light opal is whiter than shown in the image. It displays bright red-green over about 80% of its surface at any given angle. The stone has a medium dome and measures 11 x 24 x 3.8 mm. A very pretty example of Coober Pedy light opal that’s been out of the ground for years.
